-DC101 and DC401 start on the Monday after Labor Day—enough time to finish (ideally with celebration) before Thanksgiving weekend.
-DC201 and DC402 start on the week of the first Monday of the New Year (unless New Years Day is a Monday).
-Spiritual Disciplines Retreats are on the weekend between the 5th & 6th—and the 6th & 7th—weeks of DC101. (We’ve lightened the prep for DC in weeks 6 and 7. Second-best: the weekend after DC101 ends.)
-In terms of material volume and coverage, it is optimal for the Marriage Event (ME) and Marriage Retreat (MR) to be on the weekend between DC201 & DC202. (There are some advantages to having it earlier—closer to St. Valentine’s Day and avoid NCAA hotel problems.)
-MR: odd/even years, off-campus, F 8:00 PM to Sat noon, 3 sessions
-ME: even/odd years, on-campus, F 6-10 PM, bring appetizer/dessert, 1 session
-The primary Social and Service Opportunities for DC are during the three semester breaks.
-Graduation is ideally the second Friday after DC403 ends—two Fridays before Memorial Day. If running late in the calendar, choose the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend.
